Intermediate Dimensions: Harmony of Body and Soul in the Language of 3D Art

My artistic exploration seems to delve into a fascinating intersection of technology, philosophy, and metaphysics.

About me

Hello! My name is Eszter Varga, I am from Hungary, and this is Vemvision, my personal portfolio about my art philosophy and art work.

In my artwork, I seek forms of materializing the soul. Through 3D printing, I create deformations that resemble the “soul shells” of beings. On the other hand, I shape the evolution of the formation of soul matter. Eventually, I would like to merge these two directions. Through my artistic activity, I aim to express the multifaceted interactions and symbiosis between body and soul, creating an imprint of existence.

You can find me online in the links below or just send me a message to say hi.

1. Materializing the Soul:

  • By utilizing 3D printing, I am translating abstract concepts like the soul into tangible, physical forms. This process transforms the intangible into the visible, providing a unique perspective on the ethereal aspects of existence.

2. Deformations as “Soul skeletons”:

  • The choice to create deformations adds depth to my representation. These distortions could be seen as symbolic of the unique experiences, struggles, and transformations that shape an individual’s soul over time. Each deformation tells a story, creating a visual narrative of the soul’s journey.

3. Evolution of Soul Matter:

  • Shaping the evolution of soul matter suggests an exploration of change and growth. This could symbolize the dynamic nature of the soul, constantly evolving and adapting. The use of technology, in this case, becomes a tool not just for creation but also for capturing the essence of transformation.

4. Merging Directions:

  • The aspiration to merge the deformations representing “soul shells” with the evolving soul matter indicates a desire to reconcile different facets of the human experience. This merging could symbolize the integration of past experiences with the ongoing evolution of the self.

5. Expressing Interactions and Symbiosis:

  • The focus on multifaceted interactions and symbiosis between body and soul adds a layer of complexity to my work. It suggests an exploration of the interconnectedness between the physical and metaphysical realms, emphasizing that the soul is not an isolated entity but is intricately woven into the fabric of one’s existence.

6. Creating an Imprint of Existence:

  • The ultimate goal of expressing the interactions between body and soul is to create an imprint of existence. This could be seen as an attempt to capture the essence of what it means to be alive, to experience, and to evolve. The artwork becomes a tangible record of the profound interplay between the spiritual and the corporeal.

In summary, my artistic endeavor not only explores the tangible representation of the soul but also delves into the philosophical and existential aspects of human experience. Through the medium of 3D printing, I am creating a visual language that speaks to the complexity and beauty of life’s journey. My work invites viewers to contemplate the nature of existence, the interplay between the seen and unseen, and the profound symbiosis between body and soul.
